FLUDOR BENIN SA was established in 1996 as the Group’s first foray into Francophone Africa. It started as a company focused on cotton exports but eventually commenced commercial production of oil and De-oiled Cake (DOC) from cottonseed in May 2000. Over time, it evolved into a major Oils & Fats platform in West Africa, utilizing state-of-the-art processing plants supplied by global leaders in technology.
In 2016, the Fludor Benin advanced cashew-processing factory opened in Zogbodomey, contributing at least 15% to the domestic cashew production in the Republic of Benin. Beyond economic contributions, we prioritize social responsibility, with a strong emphasis on women empowerment. Over 85% of our processing facility’s workforce comprises women, reflecting our commitment to fostering gender inclusivity.
